the spouse, the soulmate, the dreamgirl, the “friend of mine”
Three more days, and it’ll be a whole year that I posted my last entry.
Thanks to all who have kept visiting this blog, and have kept inquiring, it kept me going! (actually it didnt, but you can give yourselves a pat on the back anyway). I had almost stopped blogging, thinking it might hurt someone, or perhaps hamper the quest for Nimmo herself.
M mentioned what are blogs for, if not for writing, and it helps to get the bottled feelings out of the system, so here goes nothing.
Nimmo is still out there, I am still single.
I went for about 6 arrange marriage meet ups, none of which worked out.
I have started looking for reasons to say yes, rather than looking for ones to say no.
I have started enjoying Shahrukh Khan’s movies again, and enjoyed RNDBJ 100 times more than Ghajini.
I had strong crushes on quite a few babes I knew, managed to confess it to one I liked most, and the thin like I walked that time reminded me how much I treasure all of them in my friend circle, that I’ll probably never tell them to their face that they’ve been loved.
I took dance lessons from SDIPA, had a crush on the instructors both times, and on HB and SS from the summer funk batch. Met SS again 2 months ago and she said she’ll join at summer funk again! Have shed ~25kgs from last year, so plan to be better this time.
I joined Twitter to meet new babes, decided to be frank about it, and at least one dame from BlogCamp told me later, “Initially I thought you were a Despo, but you’re actually pretty cool.. I wish my BF was a geek”, one of the better compliments I’ve recieved so far, thanks A.
I have lost my taste in music, earlier I used to be very specific in my choice, I’ve gone from Boyzone - Britney - MJ to Rock to Western Classical to Techno/Trance to House over the years, having favorites at all times, now its just December Top 50 or 2008 Top 100 chartbusters. Music has become a background noise I like to have, not something I care about. Perhaps the only thing surviving is my collection of 90’s music, and I go back to it time and again.
I have almost stopped seeing movies, and almost watch TV series exclusively, no more one-night stands, only long term relationships.
All said and done, Obama says, 2009 is the year of Change, the World needs change, and so do I - Kripya chutte paise jhala…

I am a 26 year old single-and-available male searching for my soulmate. Nimmo is a name I've given to my Dreamgirl as "ideal match" etc was too clinical. This will be the story of how we'll meet. If you see her first, tell me.
