the spouse, the soulmate, the dreamgirl, the “friend of mine”

I was pondering at the age old cliche of Love Triangles. Then I realized that in life, until there are bisexual people in the relationship, there could only be love Angles. Take for example, the above photo. The love which the two boys feel for the girl (solid line for solid feelings), they cant possibly feel for each other. At max they can be friends, which is a different type of love (shown as the dotted line).
Hence proved, there are no Love Triangles, only Love Angles.

I am a 26 year old single-and-available male searching for my soulmate. Nimmo is a name I've given to my Dreamgirl as "ideal match" etc was too clinical. This will be the story of how we'll meet. If you see her first, tell me.

Haha, that’s a very good point – never really thought of it that way before.

‘No triangles, only love angles’
This reminds me of those Bingo chips ads.

As you rightly pointed out, “assuming no bi-sexual” actors are involved. (Also, assuming no gay actors are involved, otherwise you could have a triangle consisting of three members of the same sex.)
Practically speaking, a lot of people are bi. Maybe not perfectly “right in the center” bi, but bi nevertheless.
Hence the assumption is quite a significant one, and the theory as stated “There are no love triangles” is quite invalid.
