Since I am a tattooed person, pls let me comment on some of the things you have talked abt here. :) So, tattoos express who you are (this is what it represents to me) and parts of you not visible to others (probing conversation with an ex-boss brought this out) and by this I don't mean bodily parts.

Tattoos hurt. End of story. Whether you get one, two, three - they hurt. Period. There is nothing remotely erotic (sorry T) about the tattoo artist going where possibly no man/woman has gone before. He is doing his job and you are his/her customer. He is very practical and does it like mechanically almost. Both times I got guys to do my tattoos and trust me the pain is not going to let you think about anything else.

On the other hand, friend got tattoo done with nice looking bloke who put her at ease and she has a very nice seahorse on her lower belly! :D She will never of course show it to you! :P

But if one decides to go ahead and get one, the implications of being tattooed should never be forgotten. Its always a big hit with the boys and never a hit with the family..Gee I wonder why! ;)
