the spouse, the soulmate, the dreamgirl, the “friend of mine”
Three more days, and it’ll be a whole year that I posted my last entry.
Thanks to all who have kept visiting this blog, and have kept inquiring, it kept me going! (actually it didnt, but you can give yourselves a pat on the back anyway). I had almost stopped blogging, thinking it might hurt someone, or perhaps hamper the quest for Nimmo herself.
M mentioned what are blogs for, if not for writing, and it helps to get the bottled feelings out of the system, so here goes nothing.
Nimmo is still out there, I am still single.
I went for about 6 arrange marriage meet ups, none of which worked out.
I have started looking for reasons to say yes, rather than looking for ones to say no.
I have started enjoying Shahrukh Khan’s movies again, and enjoyed RNDBJ 100 times more than Ghajini.
I had strong crushes on quite a few babes I knew, managed to confess it to one I liked most, and the thin like I walked that time reminded me how much I treasure all of them in my friend circle, that I’ll probably never tell them to their face that they’ve been loved.
I took dance lessons from SDIPA, had a crush on the instructors both times, and on HB and SS from the summer funk batch. Met SS again 2 months ago and she said she’ll join at summer funk again! Have shed ~25kgs from last year, so plan to be better this time.
I joined Twitter to meet new babes, decided to be frank about it, and at least one dame from BlogCamp told me later, “Initially I thought you were a Despo, but you’re actually pretty cool.. I wish my BF was a geek”, one of the better compliments I’ve recieved so far, thanks A.
I have lost my taste in music, earlier I used to be very specific in my choice, I’ve gone from Boyzone – Britney – MJ to Rock to Western Classical to Techno/Trance to House over the years, having favorites at all times, now its just December Top 50 or 2008 Top 100 chartbusters. Music has become a background noise I like to have, not something I care about. Perhaps the only thing surviving is my collection of 90’s music, and I go back to it time and again.
I have almost stopped seeing movies, and almost watch TV series exclusively, no more one-night stands, only long term relationships.
All said and done, Obama says, 2009 is the year of Change, the World needs change, and so do I – Kripya chutte paise jhala…

I am a 26 year old single-and-available male searching for my soulmate. Nimmo is a name I've given to my Dreamgirl as "ideal match" etc was too clinical. This will be the story of how we'll meet. If you see her first, tell me.

This is a tricky situation; when you endup being friends with the one you love (endup being in love with a friend) – you fear loosing the friend by confessing. But then that feeling everytime you have in the back of your mind when you speak to her is painful…
I can feel the difference – Give me a stranger and I would even end up proposing marriage to her in the first meet
, flirt as if I am all available for her. But I would waste years looking at the gal of my dreams who is right in front of my eyes and still say nothing
