A year has passed since I first started Finding Nimmo, this quest for documentation of the quest. And 12 months and only 15 posts later this is where I stand:

I still have to find Nimmo, she is one of that ever elusive variety who just happens to flutter away like a mirage the moment I think I have found her.

All girls I have ever really really really liked, are either in States, or in the process of going there.

I have discovered recently that females in my workplace are taller than average. While most profiles I see are 5′3″ tall, I mistakenly assumed that it was the average height worldwide. Three arranged meetings and some casual inquiries later I can safely tell that it is not, and Nimmo would at least be 5′7″ tall to stand royally next to me and make me proud.

Matchmakers assume that heavy body people would fit in with other heavy bodied people. That may not be the case always. Though as a precaution, I am actively avoiding nutritionists :), I would love Nimmo to be, what is humanly considered, as a fit person. I want someone who can push me for aerobics/ dancing/ cardio, and provide some inspiration for it.

Speaking of dancing, I have enrolled myself in SDIPA classes, and under the watchful eyes of Debashree (who is uber-hot FYI) and Urvesh, am learning to Jig on “Deewanagi … Deewanagi (the rainbow mix) ” from OSO.

Why the dancing part all of a sudden ? Well, I got a chance to dance with a crush on a friend’s sister’s wedding, but I could not go ahead with it because I thought I’d make a fool of myself. I ended up making a awkward moment, ruining one dance for the said female. Karma bit me back later when I wanted to ask her out for dance, and was refused the chance.

I ran the Free Hugs Campaign in Mood I this year, and managed to hug 17 females, an all time high in the life of this ogre

I made quite a few friends of the fairer variety this year: a goddess of misspelling, a queen of chembur, a social psychologist, someone who’s life ees as eet ees, dhakkan, heartbreaker, medems, karate students and what not. Working for a social networking firm, I am now exploring friends of friends, and will report on how things go. So far person who claimed to introduce IIT to the movie Garden State is still to pick up her Last Kiss, and person who says tall, stocky people with long fingers and sense of humor turn her on has put me on a limited profile view on facebook.

So far, so good.

The highlight of this year has been that I woke up in the new year in company of 3 females, and today on Valentine’s day am going out with one of them to see a play at Prithvi. Its another thing altogether that for both occasions, the number of males present were/are still more than twice the number of females. But, babes are not like News, where no news is good, instead they are birds, where one in hand is worth two in bush.

And as I came with that sidey metaphor, my fortune cookie told me that the bird in hand will put turd on your wrist.

Like I said, its complicated.

If you’re still reading, Happy Valentine’s Day!

I have this mixed feeling about Tattoos. Tattoos, strategically located, half hidden, turn me on (and before anyone gets smarter, I meant on specimens of fairer sex). They are elusive, tantalizing things, which seem to lock my gaze in a Tractor beam. I manage to make intelligent conversation, but that’s about it, the eyes keep slipping to where the tattoo is located. So embarrassing…

Take for example someone having a tattoo of a butterfly which you can only see when one wears an open neck/wide neck tshirt or top. She knows its a butterfly, she’s told you, so you know its a butterfly, still you can not help but look. You have to see the full butterfly, you want to admire the design, the artwork (yeah, right) and though destined to be forever stationary, it makes your gaze wander. Such actions may potentially ruin any relationship you have with her, and if she’s a co-worker, it may spell trouble.

Emotion 1: Jim Carry in mask, when he sees Cameron Diaz dancing on “Love makes me treat you..” If you cant, here’s a reference pic

Yes, exactly, this is what men are mentally when they see an exotic babe (someone who gets a hidden tattoo is type exotic by default). Mind ventures into numerous possibilities, how far would someone go if they have had the guts to do a tattoo done. Barring mood swings (which a colleague had in Goa, and Goa sure brings out the wild side in people), to have a tattoo done, is having a permanent imprint on the body. That was what Enslavers did earlier, mark the body and make the mind submissive, destroy the will power, claim ownership and make princesses into pleasure girls

What was once misery, got taken up as fashion when enslavement ended. Tattoos became exotic, and to this date and future, will remain mark of someone who is not afraid to try out new things, to boldy go where no one gone before, someone who is guranteed to make your life adventurous.

So be it the temporary ones which Kareena Kapoor sports in Asoka, or permanent ones like those of Angelina Jolie and Jenna Jameson, tattoos are always a turn-on

Emotion 2: Where others have gone before…
After the initial rush, and that pumping of testosterone, comes the realization, that it is a permanent tattoo. Tattoo-ing takes time. A stranger, professional though he may be, held you for that time period, and the more exotic the location of tattoo, the more the feeling of giddyness I feel. How much was she wearing when the Tattoo was done, what was the position, was there an anesthetic?, was the Tattoo artist a male, or a female? How long did it take? Was she awake the whole time? How did it feel, that touch of a strangers hand (duh.. anesthetics), but still…

Its a strange arousing yet sinking feeling. Somehow I can not imagine the Tattoo artist having as clean minded intent as a Doctor.

Well, you can not have your cake and eat it too

Off track: We were in Goa, staying at Raman Cottages. (lovely place on Calangut beach, if you are deciding on a visit) These cottages have thickness of a single brick, which means you can totally hear when cottages around you even flush. Which also means, you are forced to eavesdrop on all types of conversations.

Fate smiled upon us and in the cottage back to where me and spiky were bunked up, there were 4 young females. One of them got tattoed (a temporary one) a scorpion, right where my friend has her butterfly, but clearly visible in the swimsuit. Little did I knew that the scorpion was only one of the tattoos, the other was… invisible ( * the mind wanders into what all a one piece sports-style swimsuit can hide *) All I got to hear was this:

Random Babe: You BITCH, you got a Tattoo done THERE too?

Tattood Babe: Yeah, don’t freak out, I wanted one HERE, but that would have been too bold, so I settled for one _HERE_.

Random Babe: You’re total … total… * goes out scandalized *

Now I could not see what HERE and THERE were, or what the second tattoo looked like, but imagination brings some happy memories.

Call me old fashioned, MCP or what not, I’d prefer Nimmo to not to have a tattoo

Got into this real crazy discussion with Spiky and T the other day. You know, the thing which guys do once in a while to prove that there’s life beyond the Internet. The discussion was, what if you were hooked up with someone (as in Going steady types) and your ex, the one-time big love-crush-infatuation-crush my heart and hope to die-whatchamacallit love comes back and says, “I was wrong, you were right, lets give US an another go…” Would you do that. Would you leave your current someone special, the current “good friend of mine” to go back to the old one?

We debated this for a full hour over some real good Bhurji and Pao-bhaji, and keeping privacy of ppl in question in mind, I’d not go into specifics.

Here are some of the thoughts that came up:

What if the Ex was the soulmate. The one girl you’d die for, the girl who always assumes command of your fantasy dreams, the Venus-Aphrodite rolled into one babe. The woman whom you always trusted to manage your family.

Then again, do such babes actually exist? I mean, she left you, one time, you wanted her to be with you, and she made a decision and went away, walked out of your life. One moment, she was there, the emotional support pillar, the other moment you are listening to Nickleback playing “This is how you remind me… ”

What about the present Girl, whats her fault, she’s making an emotional investment into you. Does one make a settlement if he doesnt get the 1st love? Are 2nd loves not that great? Are n-th loves? Can one even fall in love for more than one time? What is LOVE anyway, just a bundle of undefinable emotions.

Reminds me of that Ross and Rachel thing from friends. On one hand, its a chance to set your life straight, to believe in strong words like Destiny and Serendipity, and to be with someone whom you always wanted to live your life with. But sooner or later, the realization will come, she’s been with someone, everything you do together, someone’s already probably done that, its not the matter of hoopla of Virginity or narrow mindedness (that was another spinoff discussion altogether) but more on always being aware of being compared, self-evaluation or otherwise.

I for one, fool for love that I am, who still wishes one day Catherine will leave Douglas and stay with me :), would say No to that ex, cute though she is, hot though she is, Dreamgirl though she was, you’ll always have a special place in my memory Harddisk, but your files are now read only. I cant open them again. I learnt a lot from you, but moved on or not, time’s come to give someone else a fair chance.

Nimmo has full Admin rights to me

-fN
PS: I’ve read it in 100 different places that its not a good thing to mention your Ex in conversations with a potential Nimmo, I’ve done that sometimes unknowingly, and to tell from experience, if 100 places say it, its mostly right

What do you people think?

I was pondering at the age old cliche of Love Triangles. Then I realized that in life, until there are bisexual people in the relationship, there could only be love Angles. Take for example, the above photo. The love which the two boys feel for the girl (solid line for solid feelings), they cant possibly feel for each other. At max they can be friends, which is a different type of love (shown as the dotted line).

Hence proved, there are no Love Triangles, only Love Angles.

(Of course, anyone who objects to eating Panipuri should be just taken out, bound, gagged and be made to watch Kyonki Saans bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi all day long)

Anyway, when Rashmi Sinha’s Slideshare; which is like You Tube for Powerpoints announced the World’s Best Presentation Contest which in turn had an Alienware Laptop as 1st prize, I was all set to participate. After discarding many topics which were not enough Hurr-Hurr, I finally zeroed in on what else but Pani Puri.

So cutting a long story short, here’s my entry:

Please to visit the Entry’s Home page, and if you like it, then take 2 minutes and give a thumbs up.

Tx.

-@

PS: Nimmo will drool whenever she sees Panipuri or an Alienware Laptop (the latter is not necessory).

What makes a woman attractive?

In my humble opinion, everything. Here is list of things people have had Fetishes on..

Hair

Face

Lips

Eyes

Forehead

Neckline

Collarbones

Armpits

Arms

Back

Breasts

Fingers

Fingernails

Belly

Bellybutton

and so on and so forth…

As a designer, there is no one greater than God himself, and he has created the female of the species with such deadly features, that one can fall for any one of them. There is no part of a female body which cannot arouse a man.

Yet, everyone has his own preferences, these preferences may change over time, but will remain preferences none the less. With the flux of scantily clad females now swarming the Media networks, the excitement effect has lessened.

I still remember the day, when I was in 8th standard, we had gone to see The Mask, I still remember when Cameron Diaz walks into the bank, and bends down to adjust her sandals, that moment, to my young sensitive mind, was bliss. I enjoyed the movie for many reasons, and Jim Carrey has since then been my guru, but lets not venture into that here.

Since then, the world has come a long way. Gone are the days when people objected to Karishma singing “Sexy sexy sexy mujhe log bolein…” and made fuss on Mamta Kulkarni coming semi-nude on Stardust. With the amount of skin splashed all over the place in the present day, it has lost all its aphrodisiac qualities.

Too much Erotica is not erotic at all.

With each new music video showing more and more scantily clad babes attempting Indianized pole and belly dances, and pretty sad attempts at that, its no longer erotic. The mind gets sensitized to it. Add to this the fact that the regular girl one ends up living ever-after with doesn’t have hand crafted bombshell body, nor is expected to have diploma lessons in erotic dancing, and you get the answer to the increasing number of disappointed if not unsuccessful marriages.

I still miss the daily last lecture of my school in summer time, when we got all sweaty, I miss Raveena Tondon doing “Ladki Sheher ki Ladki..”, I miss Manisha Koirala running in “Tu hi re…” , I miss Malaika Arora in MTV Loveline, Deepti Bhatnagar in “Mera Laung gawacha“, Anaida in “H0o Halla ho…”, Alisha in “Made in India…” and many many more…

Beauty is however not skin-deep

While most non-star people have some good features, its not that they are ugly, they are beautiful, just not Hot beautiful. God also has this lovely support service, that as you grow old and get wrinkles, you get more and more beautiful. Tell me one ugly Grandma and I’ll eat my words, but I am sure you can’t. So no matter whom you marry, her beauty quotient will only increase than what it is.

If beauty is guaranteed, what then, is the decision making factor, which makes the heart flutter?

The level of Hotness. The drool factor. And for me, its the mind.

A beautiful mind.

One can have numerous fantasies, but they are no fun if one has to tell the partner what to do. One can try roleplay, but if you have to explain the full Princess-Leia-and-the-Gold-bikini thing, its no longer fun. Life, should be intuitive, creative, the partner should compliment the thought process with her own creative inputs, bringing new heights of sensations.

Leave alone the close room recreational activities, there are numerous benefits of getting fixed up with a beautiful mind. One is entitled to heated debates, engaging discussions, all that spice that carries life forward…

When I look back at all the discussions I’ve been having with parents and relatives and other well wishers, who are trying to convince me to ditch my quest for Nimmo, and get settled soon, it gets tiring. They have made peace with their wives, and I’m sure they have no regrets in life, but I still have some years left to search.

This lust for a mind is a difficult thing to explain, sadly, for those like me who have passed through all the other fetish phases, this is the only thing we crave for.

I (preferably) want to spend my life with someone to whom I can say “I do”, not with someone to whom I say “You’ll do”

is it too much to ask for ?
